During the pandemic, COVID-19 fever clinics helped segregate patients from the general population. However, these clinics faced major challenges, including the overwhelming number of patients with COVID-19-like respiratory symptoms, complexity in distinguishing between the respiratory diseases, reduced speed and efficiency in assessment, delivering patient care, and increased risk of transmission to clinical staff.
