A 30-year-old female suddenly noticed a heaviness in the right side of the face accompanied by a burning sensation of the right eye when she washed her face. There was an accumulation of food in the right vestibule of the mouth. All food had a metallic taste. The patient could not tolerate loud sounds. She received the proper care and treatment and after one month there was a marked improvement of her condition.
There was no fever all through her illness and both tympanic membranes were normal. There was no hearing impairment.
