It sometimes surprises me that a country with a population of more than a billion and good number of doctors and engineers unable to invest in research or rather attract talent to research in the medical field. Rather it would be right to say that research is not a financially attractive option in our country. We see lot of Indian doctors who are also researchers abroad and ever wondered why?
