The patient had a large torus mandibularis in the lingual aspect of the lower jaw for a few years. It was causing her issues with eating and speaking besides some food impaction, occasionally. The condition was noticed by the patient a few months before.

She had shown it to a dentist prior and treatment taken. However, it didn’t subside and so they came to us for a consultation. After examining, it was diagnosed as torus mandibularis or bony exostosis - like a large bony spur in the lingual aspect of the lower jaw.
