Supreme court directs MCI to frame non-negligent protocols to prevent medical negligence cases following a death of a patient after cesarean surgery & demanding 2 crores. This what we have been asking since long but MCI & our Indian Doctor's Association failed to frame guidelines for non-negligent protocols. Now supreme court directed MCI for the same. This is the correct time to frame Indian guidelines for each & everything to avoid punishments & fine by courts for even small clerical errors.

Guidelines should be framed whether MBBS & MD/MS doctors what to treat & not, since recent judgment stated that MD doctors should not treat specialty cases. This means it is equivalent to banning MD courses. At the same time, there is no restriction for undergraduate AYUSH doctors to treat specialty cases. Share your opinions.
