In a blunder committed by a renowned super specialty hospital in New Delhi, doctors operated the wrong leg of a 24-year-old boy who was admitted to the hospital on Sunday evening. A CA student was rushed to the super specialty hospital in Shalimar Bagh area after he slipped from the stairs at his residence in Ashok Vihar on Sunday evening. The doctors told his family members that the patient had a fracture in the ankle of his right leg and might need to undergo a surgery in which four pins will be inserted in his ankle. The patient's family expecting a speedy recovery, was in for a shock when they learnt that the left leg of their son has been operated instead of the right one.
