Synopsis Ankle Fracture and more specifically, Malleolar Fracture is of frequent occurrence in both young and elderly patients resulting from high-energy and low-energy trauma/comorbidities, respectively. Although several techniques exist for surgical fixation of medial malleolar fractures, post-surgical implant-related pain results in patient dissatisfaction. The present study aims to evaluate the efficacy of single screw fixation in ameliorating such implant-related complications.
