Does working as a senior resident or above in a department of a private hospital which runs an approved DNB course in the same department, considered equivalent to SR ship in a government teaching hospital? A post graduate trainee (DNB student) in a department of a private hospital is eligible for a govt approved degree (DNB) after 3 years, but the SR in the same department under whom the DNB student trained is not considered to be having teaching experience.

I fail to understand the logic. Someone please explain?
