Old pattern classification of corneal dystrophy may still be useful. We can classify corneal dystrophy as follows type 1, 2 and 3.
Type 1 is referred to as granular Type 2 is referred to macular and Type 3 is referred to lattice Corneal dystrophy is very common then we have CHED Juvenile epithelial dystrophy of Messman Microscopic cystic lesion of Cogan Primary band-shaped keratopathy Whorl like dystrophy of flesher Mosaic-like dystrophy of Vogt a senilis a venalis h h bodies Mooren’s ulcer and even pterygium is considered to be corneal dystrophy
