I would like to know opinions regarding thromboprophylaxis in post surgical patient specific to following case: A 41 years old patient presented with right sided ruptured ectopic .Laparotomy done undergone right salphingectomy with hemoperitoneum 2 lit plus 200cc intra operative. Minimum oozing from mesosalphinx controlled with hemostatic sutures, surgicel kept and drain kept .Patient was hemodynamicaly stable during intra operative period. Weight of the patient was 81 kg. Pre operative hb 13.4 gm, 6hrs post operative 11.1 gm with stable vitals.
Will you advice early ambulation, prophylactic heparin TED stockings or all. If heparin when would you like to give ? Kindly share.
