Case presentation An 8-year patient presented with chest pain and hunched posture after a recent trauma to the anterior chest wall. He attempted to do a backflip in an inflatable bounce house and landed incorrectly with his lower extremities flexed, resulting in a direct blow to his anterior chest wall. He had a brief episode of chest pain and breathlessness but resumed playing after a few minutes. Following this, he had chest pain that worsened with exertion and while standing in extension postures.
He gradually developed a hunched posture with a predilection of holding his arms in front of his body. He had no history of fever, cough, bleeding, dyspnea, and dysphagia.
