My patient who is a doctor herself has been suffering from Crohn's disease since 1995 when she was only 23 years old. She has undergone resection anastomosis on 2000 for intestinal obstruction and that time diagnosis was done through biopsy. After many controversies (Intestinal Koch's vs Crohn's: a trial of ATD was given) proper treatment was started on 2006. Since then she is on steroid, Azathioprine, Mesalamine for ileocecal Crohn's. Recently for last one year, Infliximab therapy has been started but yielding no result. Patient's condition is pathetic.
Life is restricted. She is suffering from recurrent loose motion and intermittent sub-acute intestinal obstruction. Recent, CT scan be dated on 10/2/2017 revealed long segment involvement of distal ileum, caecum and ascending colon with well thickening and lumina narrowing and early ileocolic frustration.
