A 20 year male patient came to me presenting with features of fever for 6 days with chill no history of vomiting, or yellow urination. On examination vital stable, he was advised for CBC, MPQBC ,WIDAL and urine examination. Reports found +ve for widal 1:360 for both. After 3 days no change in fever pattern, so I have switched over to ceftriaxone 2 gm bd with continuation of azithral 1 gm od and stopped cefixime and oflaxacine. 2 days of ceftriaxone completed fever pattern decresing but not satisfactory. What should I do now? Please suggest.
