A Lawyer took his father to a private hospital for a routine check up, as his father was under treatment of the said hospital for the last three years. His father was shifted in ICU, nothing was told to him about the cause. He forcibly entered ICU and saw a staff nurse was doing CPR and suspected happening of an untoward incident. After two hours, the death of the patient was declared. Attendant complained to police that he brought his father who was normal for a routine check-up to the hospital and in hospital two stents were put without my consent.
On other hand, doctor said we have taken consent before stenting and death occurred due to internal bleeding. Police sent body for post-mortem examination and then take the required action.This patient was diabetic hypertensive and old treated case of paralysis.
