Healthy 11 and 14-year-old teenage boys presented for patient exams. The eruption patterns are not as typically they should be, primarily for the second molars in the 14-year-old. A panoramic radiograph revealed large radiopacities around the second molars on the right side.
Both males reported a lack of pain upon palpation in these areas. The images are from two different individuals Fig 1- radiograph for 11-year-old boy Fig 2- radiograph for 14-year-old boy What could be the definitive diagnosis and treatment for these patients? *This case is from Docplexus Editorial Team for educative purpose only
