Synopsis Uterine leiomyomas are the most common benign gynecologic condition, occurring in up to 70% of women. Ulipristal acetate is an orally administered selective progesterone receptor that acts to decrease bleeding and reduce leiomyoma size. Thus, to assess efficacy and tolerability of ulipristal acetate, a selective progesterone receptor modulator, for treatment of symptomatic uterine leiomyomas was evaluated.
