Over the past 30 years, minimally invasive surgery (MIS) technology has revolutionized surgery by providing fewer postoperative complications, faster recovery, and fewer cosmetic scars. In recent years, robotic surgery has helped overcome the limitations of MIS, including lack of 3D field of view, limited degree of freedom of instruments, and physiological tremors.
