The US FDA has approved pivekimab sunirine (Decupaz) for the treatment of adults with blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN). Pivekimbab sunirine is the first and only antibody-drug conjugate approved for BPDCN. Clinical evidence In a clinical trial involving 33 patients with treatment-naïve BPDCN without central nervous system involvement, pivekimab sunirine achieved a complete remission or clinical complete remission rate of 69.7%, with a median remission duration of 9.7 months.
Dosage and Administration Route of adminstration : Intravenous infusion Recommended dose : 0.045 mg/kg once every 3 weeks until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity Premedication : Administer a corticosteroid on the day before infusion.
