Aspirin in low doses may help to prevent acute events, however, it has the problem of bleeding episodes. hence I won't advise it to my patients as the 1st line of prevention. The omega-3 fatty acid in high doses say 2 gm per day can be given to prevent high triglyceride level.

Other than this not much benefit to prevent events. What is your take?
