I have designed this trephines with adjustable dura guard attached to this motor. The motor is chargeable and can be covered by sterile plastic bag or sterile cloth. Note that trephines had a central pin to help it stabilise while rotating initially. Once the groove is made central pin is removed. The drill rotates both clockwise and anticlockwise.
The revolution can.be increased and decreased. The rings on trephines can.be set according to the depth you want. You can never push it into the brain because of the guard. As you know, perforation of perforators and burrs happens with all surgeons accidentally. The author condemns burr hole and feels that 1.5 cm trephine with adjustable dura guard is good and should replace it.
