Value-based healthcare must also double up the efforts for industrial workers as well, to mitigate long term effects of musculoskeletal disorders (MSD.) Dear Editor, Certainly, there is a need for value-based healthcare, and we totally agree with Prof. Muir Gray. Besides the poor and the handicapped, one area that would also need a redoubling of efforts is industrial health. Industries continue to generate employment, and remain open to skilled and even unskilled workers.

Health issues might be few and far between in well organized and established sectors, where all possible health needs are met and medical insurance is adequate. But there might be certain sectors where there may be a floating population of workers, instead of a regular work force, for whom adequate long term medical insurance or health facilities might not be available.
