Drainage operations are mainly of two types, 1)Gastrojejunostomy, in which anastomosis is made between the stomach and jejunum by-passing the pylorus, and thus emptying of the stomach is eased. 2)Pyloroplasty-here the pyloric canal is widened to ease the drainage of the stomach.
