Verapamil is a calcium channel blocker and used for treating hyeprtension, angina, and certain cardiovascular disorders. A study reported in this article assessed if verapamil can be effective in alleviating the symptoms of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) with nasal polyps. Although the results are promising, large scale studies to establish the safety and efficacy of verapamil in this regard are essential.
