Evolved diagnostics methods, including efficient screening tests, 2D/3D-mammography or breast tomosynthesis, and magnetic resonance imaging have made early diagnosis possible. Modified surgeries, radiation, chemo, hormonal and targeted drug therapies, or a combination of these therapies provide an individualized approach to the treatment. Extensive research and newer advancements are helping us better understand breast cancer's biological heterogeneity and thus opening doors to developing new drugs against drug-resistance cancer cells.
