A 60 year old ,stone crusher by occupation, pt of old case of silicosis consulted for weakness and after all investigations found normal, prescribed Ofloxacin 400mg daily a cough suppressant for 15 days with vitamins protein. But came to me that he is feeling weak and dyspnea inspite of treatment . Xray showed silicosis on 14---5---16. Xr ay on 30--6--16 shows Lt sided homogenous opecity covering Ltside half lung field with TLC 15000/ cumm.
What happened in one and half months? It's new infection or pl effusion TB or pneumonia or ca lung? He has left job at age of 50 years. Now not doing anymore work for ten years.
