Recent market data indicate that about 15% of U.S. households currently use GLP-1 therapies and together account for roughly 17.5% of total chocolate purchases.

Despite the appetite-reducing effects associated with these medications, chocolate sales among GLP-1 users are increasing faster than among the general population. In 2025, sales of premium chocolate products grew by nearly 17% among individuals taking GLP-1 drugs, compared with a 6.5% rise among consumers who are not using these treatments.
