One of my colleagues have completed MCH plastic surgery and joined a medical college. Now the medical college says we can't start the department of plastic surgery till we get a full-time professor, associate professor and assistant professor in plastic surgery. Now, where they have a luxury of getting a full-time professor, associate professor to start department?
Already the overall number of plastic surgeons is very less. Please guide. What are the minimum requirements to start super speciality department at medical college?
