Some recent studies have shown that with age, the competency and potential of a doctor decreases. Old doctors have more real-life clinical experience than just theoretical knowledge, so it has been long assumed that they provide better care. On the other hand, young doctors are aware of latest diagnostic and therapeutic tools and are more comfortable with the latest technology. Young doctors can also devote more time to patients as they are just starting their career and are hence less busy.

While old doctors sometimes find it difficult to keep themselves up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies. Therefore, some patients prefer to consult young doctors. Do you think patients prefer to consult young doctors over old doctors? What is your experience?
