Dexmedetomidine is most popular pre-Anaesthetic, intraoperative & postoperative sedative, hypnotic, analgesic and awake Anaesthetic and cardiac blunting effects during laryngoscopy & intubation. It is the drug also used as the adjuvant during spinal anesthesia and regional anesthesia like brachial block & so on.
