A 19 year unmarried female with h/o of irregular cycles diagnosed with right adnexal cyst m/s 6*5*5 cm on USG. Repeat USG after 12 days at another centre revealed unilocular cyst in right ovary, m/s 6*5*4 cm, no calcification or solid areas, 3rd USG at another centre after 1 month showed no significant abnormality, no free fluid in POD. Thyroid status- TSH- 7.2 ,TPO antibodies -231. Patient is on treatment for hypothyroidism from 1 month(between 2nd and 3rd USG).
Can such a huge cyst resolve by itself? What treatment should be given? Give your views.
