A female patient, age 63 years is having a maculopapular rash over her entire body, more so on the trunk since April 17. Severe itching more over the scalp, ears, and face is the predominant symptom. She has been seen by 2-3 specialists and given treatment including courses of Steroids during acute stages.
She is a known case of Essential Hypertension, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Gout on medication for the last about 10 years. Despite regular treatment, she is still not fully recovered through improved symptomatically. Kindly suggest your diagnosis and line of management keeping in mind other comorbid conditions!
