Increased workload, fear of the virus, and changes in elderly care and childcare responsibilities have all added to the stress experienced by physicians during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, the well-being of HCPs is more essential than ever. Therefore, identifying the stressors that cause burnout in physicians is the need of the hour. A survey-based study published in the journal JAMA Health Forum analyzed the factors associated with burnout and the causes of higher burnout among HCPs from 120 US healthcare organizations from 2019 to 2021.
