Recently my friend was being pursued by some people claiming to be from a charitable organization. The organization was about to hold health camp, blood donation camp and eye surgery camp and they were pitching doctors for performing the surgeries. My friend did some background check and found that the organization was not registered with government neither they had any previous experience in organizing a health camp. My friend refused on these grounds but sometimes well-known organizations also organize camps but with substandard infrastructure.
In your opinion what should doctors expect from such health camps? What must doctors demand in terms of infrastructure and as a well as financial returns?
