I have recently encountered an ethical dilemma. A few days back I met a medical representative who happened to be my old friend. He has just been given the responsibility of this zone. The drug he was talking about is effective and supported by the journals.

However, I generally prescribe another drug for the disease concerned. Would it be unethical if I give it a try by prescribing his drug? Please share your views!
