A 13-year-old girl received accidental burn injury through kerosene flame 3 years ago. The areas involved were forehead, face, neck, bilateral ears, the upper chest, shoulder blades, bilateral arm, bilateral hands, which were diagnosed as first degree with pockets of second degree superficial and deep 12-15% burn injury. She received first aid, initial debridement and dressing within 30 minutes of the injury. Thereafter, she was managed under the supervision of a plastic surgeon (plastic surgeon: 24 hours later). A professional nurse dressed her injuries on alternate days.

Her initial management as well as partial thickness graft on 27th day of injury was conducted in by a plastic surgeon. Thereafter she has been on pressure garment, massage, and exercise.
