A 28 year old Woman, married one year ago eager to conceive but in vain. Patient's Profile:- Obese, CBC in normal range except platelet count 1.34 lac. Lft, kft, Tft, lipid profile, vitamin D, B12, Hba1c in normal range. Hormone levels are normal. Tests for tuberculosis were negative. U/S unicornuate uterus, Left tube absent, right tube blocked, uterus small in size.
Laparoscopic hysterosalpingography confirmed above mentioned observations. Endometrial curettage done, right tube made patent by removing blockade, tubercles seen in endometrium, endometrial curettage sent for histopathology. For conceiving what should be further line of action. If endometrial biopsy report is negative for tuberculosis, should Extraction and Implant placement on the same day drugs be given or not? Is it advisable to go for normal process for pregnancy? What is most appropriate approach for conceiving?…
