According to a study, total time spent in primary health care consultation varies from one country to another. In India, on an average, this time is 2 minutes and lesser time is associated with poorer outcomes of treatment. My view is that time spent on consultation varies from case to case and it is not necessarily true that lesser time linked to poorer outcomes of treatment.
