WHO reported that every year toxic air kills 6 lakh children under the age of 15. The UN health report shows that every day around 93% of children under the age of 15 and 1.8 billion youngsters including 630 million below five, breath dangerous polluted air. WHO reported that 6 lakh children died from acute lower respiratory infections caused by polluted air in 2016. The data shows that more than 9 out of 10 people breathing dangerous toxic air, cause 7 million premature deaths each year.
Also, the air pollution is dangerous for children and accounts for nearly 1 in 10 deaths around the globe.
