I have seen in my experience of clinical practice that in most cases when a patient is cured under my treatment, he never reports back even after a request from doctor’s side to let him know the progress of recovery. Patient only reports back or follow-up only when there is no complete remission of the illness. I believe as follow-up is an essential part of patient compliance. Feedback of successful treatment from patient is equally important. A doctor often tries out different treatment approach depending upon the individual patient and it is very important to know the success of that experiment to implement it in similar cases.
