I have seen several interesting questions with illustrations on the different sites with varying levels of intellectual inputs. It is indeed a helpful web base for Indian doctors undoubtedly. I have always wondered though, why is it that we still need white faces for all the illustrated pictures?

In other words could we please have our Indian (Brown)  faces associated with a question as that is more likely to represent our day to day practice rather than the irrelevant pictures in a western hospital. I do understand the importance of advertising models but somewhere it goes on to say that we always need to look at the west if we mean development (which is not true at all). After practicing in the UK for a significant period of time,  I have come to a conclusion for the fact that we need our own (Indian)  guidelines and ethics suitable for our needs rather than trying to look stupid…
