I am amazed at so much negative narratives about doctors by doctors on this platform! As far as I am concerned, I believe, it has nothing to do with the profession itself but more to do with the individuals performing as doctors. I am more than satisfied with being a doctor and so are my daughter and son. I am a psychiatrist and have thoroughly enjoyed my specialty for more than 30 years.
My daughter joined psychiatry ( MD) as PG student through AIPGMEE as a matter of choice and so far she is enjoying it! There are problems and challenges in all professions and corruption is just a "word" nowadays, rather than an issue to be laboured upon. Do what one has been assigned to do and do it sincerely; I can guarantee all of us, results will be stupendous for each concerened individual.
