Everyday I see some doctors ranting about something. For example: Non-allopathic doctors prescribing antibiotics, hormones, opioids, steroids, etc. Chemists dispensing without valid prescription. Patients bypassing the GP and going directly to Specialists and Super specialists. Patients preserving the prescription and repeating it without visiting the doctor.
And some doctors seem to believe that for every problem in the profession, IMA or MCI should take the remedial action. Even if a mosquito bites a doctor, IMA should take "strict action" against the mosquito. What is wrong with them? Why some doctors rant so much as if they were born just two days ago and don't know how the Indian system works. What are your opinion on this?
