Attending tuition classes in order to prepare for competitive exams seems to have become the norm for medical students, but the truth is that most of these tuition classes are a complete waste of time. Students end up spending more time commuting, rather than actually learning in the class! So why are they so popular? The traditional belief seems to be that these classes help you score better marks because the teachers there know what the examination pattern is, and can help you prepare better for the tests.

This is rubbish, because all the past exam papers are available easily online, including solved test papers which describe model answers.
