Will MCI Revise Rules As Govt. Doctors Demand Reservation?

Government doctors in Chennai staged a black badge protest demanding 50% reservation for government doctors in NEET PG. The South Indian Government All Doctors’ Association has also said that they would boycott OPD duties at all the government hospitals on 31 st January. The doctor’s body has held this protest after the apex court and MCI denied the proposal for reservation for government doctors. The secretary of Doctors' Association for Social Equality said, “ The rules and regulations by MCI for PG medical admission need to be amended, providing separate reservation to government doctors in PG and super specialty medical course.
