A 27-year-old woman visited a dermatologist for unexpected painful lesions on both her toes that were progressively oedematous and pruritic. The pain intensified on wearing shoes. The woman did not have any history of autoimmune skin disorders and was not under any specific medications. Investigations Multiple non-hemorrhagic bullae, approximately 1.5 cm in diameter were observed on both the toes. There was no bleeding or any discoloration of the skin.
A month earlier to her lesion, she experienced a loss of taste and smell for almost ten days. The dermatologist recommended a nasal swab COVID-19 test that was found positive and the patient was recommended self-isolation for a few days.
