Government Health Services are not for Women Doctors. are they? Recently, Indian Express reported on 12 July 2015, Government of Uttar Pradesh has given an affidavit to High Court stating  only 43 women doctors were deployed in a total of 3,496 PHCs in Uttar Pradesh .

This one Example is sufficient enough to showcase the situation of majority of states in India, there may be some good situation in Kerala and Gujarat (just as assumption based on high literacy rates of women in Kerala). Even when Constitution of India gives equal weightage to Equality (of Opportunity) and Equity (Empowering the weaker section of Society) but our government health services are not keen to prove it. Medical Jobs are always respected as elite or white collar job, it was always seen as best career option for women and it is proved by very good (almost 50%) percentage of Girls enrolled in medical colleges.…
