World chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) day is observed on the 16 th of November every year. The theme for this year is “Your Lungs for Life" , emphasizing the significance of maintaining lung health to live better with COPD. Among the various therapeutic options available for managing COPD, pulmonary rehabilitation takes a non-invasive, sustainable, and patient-centric approach to improve the physical and psychological health of people with chronic respiratory disease and promotes long-term adherence to health-enhancing behaviors. It includes, but is not limited to, physical training, education, nutritional counseling, and behavior modifications.
