Pneumonia is a severe lung infection caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi. Its symptoms range from mild (cold and flu-like) to severe and sometimes even prove fatal. Every year 12th November is observed as World Pneumonia Day to acknowledge the impact of this global burden on the health of people all over the world.
