4 year old boy Loose stool. Vomiting. Fever since 18 days Fever subsided after. 5 days Loose stools initially 3 days had blood in stool, 8 to 10 per day watery, foul smelling. Vomiting 2 to 4 per day, by 10bdays vomiting has increased to 6 to 7 per day now almost every time he has food he vomits after about an hour. Continues to have loose stools. No dehydration, good appetite, initially managed as acute diarrhea with ors zinc.
But not responded, stool for reducing substance. Yellow ppt, given lactose free diet, had no difference. Hb:9 gm %no uti. Past history. Had loose stools and vomiting at 6 months age needed hospitalisation for 10 days other wise nothing contributory What are the possibilities and how to proceed?
