Uttar Pradesh authorities have detected 41 doctors allegedly practicing on the basis of forged educational documents, including BAMS marksheets, internship certificates, degree certificates, and No Objection Certificates (NOCs). The Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi Medicine Board has submitted a complaint to the Lucknow Police seeking registration of FIRs against all 41 doctors. The Board has also ordered verification of the educational qualifications and degrees of doctors registered with it over the past 15 years.

According to the investigation conducted so far, the 41 doctors allegedly possessed forged BAMS marksheets, internship certificates, and degree certificates purportedly issued in the name of Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Kurukshetra, and Govt Health Science University, Rohtak.
